Detailed Reason(s) for Cessation Following changes in the shareholding structure of Mermaid's controlling shareholder, Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited ("TTA"), and the accompanying changes in Mermaid's Board composition, Mr. Chandratat has tendered his resignation as Chairman of the Board in order to allow for the succession of Mr. Prasert Bunsumpun as the new Chairman of the Board. Mr. Chandratat shall continue to serve as an Executive Director on the Board of Mermaid.

During his tenure as Chairman of the Board, he had led the Company in its transition from a small private company into a larger public company over the past five and a half years.
